WELCOME GMS STAFF!

If compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete. - Jack Kornfield

Each month we will try to update this page to give some information that will help you all during this remote learning .

We hope everyone takes time for themselves to replenish and practice self-care as we move together into this uncharted territory.

Please remember that we want to continue to be available to all staff for any needs or concerns. Your Counselors are always available by email for anything that comes up.

December is a holiday month.

Remember to stay safe and healthy during the holidays and winter vacation time. It is not advised to be in any indoor gathering of people outside of your household. Find ways to connect remotely to still visit and have a chance to be together.

September is Suicide Awareness month.

Covering suicide is never easy, but it's very important to do it right. Research has shown that improper reporting on suicide can contribute to additional suicides and suicide attempts. Click link here for more information. https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/media-resources/
