Research. I specialize in the study of mapping class groups of infinite-type surfaces known in recent literature as "big mapping class groups". In particular, I study rigidity phenomena of simplicial actions and geometric actions. Likewise, I am interested in studying algebraic and topological properties of big mapping class groups. My experience in the study of big mapping class groups has led me to use tools from different areas: geometric group theory, dynamics on flat surfaces, algebraic topology and descriptive set theory.
Recently, I began into the study of Artin-Tits groups. In this context, I study rigidity phenomena of actions of these groups in geometric/combinational objects.
