isoWalk Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, and using the isoWalk app (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Subscription Plans & Pricing

isoWalk offers the following auto-renewing subscription options:

Monthly Subscription

• Price: $2.99 USD per month

• Free Trial: 1 week

• Renewal: Automatically renews monthly unless cancelled

Yearly Subscription

• Price: $12.99 USD per year

• Free Trial: 2 weeks

• Renewal: Automatically renews annually unless cancelled

Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Subscription costs may vary by region and currency.

3. Free Trial Terms

• Free trial access begins upon first subscription

• If you cancel during the free trial, you will lose access to premium features immediately

• If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged

• Free trial periods cannot be combined or extended

4. Auto-Renewal & Billing

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. Your payment method will be charged:

• 24 hours before the renewal date for monthly subscriptions

• 24 hours before the annual renewal date for yearly subscriptions

You authorize isoWalk to charge the payment method on file for each renewal.

5. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your device settings:

On iPhone/iPad:

1. Open Settings

2. Tap your Apple ID (top of screen)

3. Select Subscriptions

4. Tap isoWalk

5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features through the end of your paid period.

Refunds

Refunds for accidental purchases or duplicate charges can be requested through the App Store. Refunds for subscription renewals are not available, except as required by law.

6. Data Collection & HealthKit

What We Collect

The App integrates with Apple HealthKit and may request access to the following data types:

• Step Count — to track your daily walking activity

• Distance Walked/Ran — to measure total distance covered

• Active Energy Burned — to estimate calories burned during workouts

How We Use Your Data

• Data is used exclusively to enhance your personalized walking coaching experience

• All data is processed locally on your device

• We do NOT sell, share, or monetize your health data

• isoWalk is designed for fitness tracking and educational purposes only

Your Control

• You grant permission explicitly through the native iOS HealthKit permission dialog

• You can revoke access anytime through Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices

• Revoking access will prevent the App from accessing new HealthKit data but will not delete previously synced data

7. Health & Fitness Disclaimer

Important: The isoWalk App is designed for fitness tracking and educational purposes only. It is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice.

• Consult a healthcare professional before starting any new fitness program

• If you have cardiac, respiratory, or other health conditions, obtain physician approval before using this App

• isoWalk is not responsible for injuries or health complications resulting from use of the App

• Listen to your body and stop if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, isoWalk and its developers are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities

• Interruptions in service or technical failures

• Inaccurate health or fitness data

• Injuries sustained while using the App

The App is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. User Responsibilities

By using isoWalk, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful and legitimate fitness tracking purposes

• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to hack the App

• Not use the App while operating a vehicle or in situations where attention to surroundings is required

• Accept full responsibility for your health and safety while using the App

• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

10. Modifications to Terms

isoWalk reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

11. Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at: https://sites.google.com/view/isowalk/privacy-policy

In the event of conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy takes precedence regarding data handling.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
