EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND INTERESTS

WORKING IN TEAM, COMMUNICATING WITH DIFFERENT STAKEHOLDERS, REPRESENTING THE MANAGER

During my current job experience I am enhancing my communication and negotiation skills. I have to represent the manager in many different situations (meetings, congresses, etc.) and to interact (in person, via email, skype, phone) with consultants, colleagues, vendors, etc. Plus, I often work as member of teams composed by colleagues from different department (especially I.T.C. and Administration) to write and run multi-disciplinary projects. I prepare documents, dossiers, translations, arrange meetings, answer to emails, and prepare presentations, trying to use different tools (not only office365 apps but also Prezi, Cartoons, Videos etc.).

I attended several congresses as speaker and as auditor and I had the possibility to learn how to address different audience needs .

Specialized audience: During the last UNESCO Chair in Bioethics 9th World Conference in Bioethics, Medical ethics and health law, held in Naples, Italy on 19-21 November 2013, I had the possibility to discuss my presentation about Bioethics and occupational safety in gender's studies, discussing the achievements of Italian Law aimed at safeguarding women and men at work, during the Congress on “The new borderlines of clinical experimentation: a challenge for bioethics”, 15-17 Dec. 2010, University of Naples Federico II, Department of Medical Law, Italy, I presented my researches on “Human Guinea Pigs”; at the Congress on “GPs and their activities”, 26 Jan. 2008, Sala delle Conferenze dell'Ordine dei Medici Chirurghi ed Odontoiatri di Benevento, Benevento (BN), Italy, I presented my researches on “GPs and bioethics”; at the Refresher course on “Data protection and health activity: the new Legislative Decree”, 25-26 Nov. 2005, Centro Congressi Terme di Telese, Benevento (BN), Italy, I spoke about “Bioethics and Privacy”.

Non-specialized audience: I have great enthusiasm for teaching inter-disciplinary and applied ethics and in fact since I was student at the University I have held some lessons in several schools on applied ethics (2008, "environment, safety and legality", XX Circolo Didattico, Villa Fleurent, Naples; 2007, "The Kyoto Protocol" and 2006 , "Environmental Bioethics", T.L. Caro, Public High School of Naples). In September 2012, I published a booklet addressed to women working in farming to help them develop behavioral safety skills, in collaboration with INAIL (National Institute of Work-related Accident Insurance), using a simple language to convey the message to people from all social classes.

From 2009 to 2014, I worked as History and Philosophy teacher in Public High Schools, and during the courses I introduced my students to several Bioethics issues, having the possibility to improve my teaching and communications skills for a non-specialistic audience.

COMPUTER SKILLS, NEW COLLABORATION TOOLS AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES

I am very interested in developing new skills in office365 apps, G-suite, virtual team management and project management tools and in my free time I follow tutorial and M.O.O.C. to get more skills. I have attended a Beginner Prezi Course in 2017 and obtained the ECDL Certificate in 2006. I am able to use both Personal Computers and Macs, Microsoft Office, Libreoffice, Openoffice, some video/music editing programs, social networks.

I am interested in many fields of the knowledge, especially in new technologies and ethics so I attended many conferences (in Italy, U.S.A., Singapore) to learn more and more. A list of most interesting conferences I have attended is at the end of my C.V. I also worked in a company specialized in business and process innovation with digital and emerging technologies.

ORGANIZATIONAL, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, FUND-RAISING SKILLS

I have had national and international work and educational experiences that helped me developing different skills. I worked in the marketing, communication and event organization fields; I followed two courses on European Project Management (Venice International University, 2013 and Brescia University, 2016) learning the Project Cycle Management (PCM).

After winning a public fund-raising contest, from March 2012 to October 2013, I worked as organizing secretary in collaboration with Italian Public Institutions like INAIL (National Institute of Work-related Accident Insurance) and MIUR (Italian Ministry of Instruction, University and Research) in order to realize a Film Festival addressed to young people aimed at promoting the culture of safety on workplaces: "Mercogliano Film Festival: when Cinema meets Work - 15-19 October 2013" and I had the possibility to enhance my interpersonal skills and to work with a variety of academics and other professionals in the public and private sector at all levels. The festival had a great success with the public and the critics, in fact we had 3000 participants. Thanks to this experience I learnt how to solve many different problems under pressure within a constantly changing environment. I had some administrative tasks and worked as press agent, then organized the press conferences and the news release for the National press and the press review. I participated in the preparation of the schedule for schools an audience, I organized travels and accommodation for both national and international guests (one of them was the Oscar-winner film director Giuseppe Tornatore) and professors, I participated in the selection of speakers and themes for the conferences held during the festival, in the preparation of the internet site and the posters of the event. Plus, I selected the locations for the event with some previous inspections of the city of Mercogliano, Avellino, Italy and I found some sponsors willing to support the event with their products. Finally I organized the gala dinner for the last night of the festival in cooperation with the best local restaurant, selecting food courses and wines.
