Mobile Money wallet based savings product targeted at both the banked and unbanked population

Yello Save offers customers the satisfaction and total control of transferring funds from your Mobile Money wallet to your Yello Save and vice versa as and when needed without any third party involvement

HOW IT WORKS

Users of the service will earn a flat rate of 3% on your account when you make more than 2 withdrawals in a month.

The interest earned on your Yello Save account is paid into your account at the end of every month

The interest rate on yellow save has been revised to 8% per annum irrespective of the amount saved

A minimum of GH¢2 is required to operate a Yello Save Account, interest is not earned upon account set up.

You need a minimum deposit of GH¢50 to start earning interest on your Yello Save Account

HOW TO REGISTER

Ensure that you have at least Ghs2 in your MM wallet when registering for the first time. During registration, Ghs5 will be deducted from your account as an initial deposit

Select Option 2 “Savings”

Select Option 1 “Yello Save”

Select Register

- Create a 4 digit PIN for your Yello Save account

The message below will be displayed;

“Congratulations! You have successfully registered for Yello Save. Save your Way to wealth!”

REVISE SAVINGS PLAN

Dial *170#

Select option 5 Financial Services

Select option 2 Savings

Select option 1 Yello Save

Select Option 6 Revise Savings Plan

1. Confirmed and Continue

- Enter your 4 digit PIN for your Yello Save account

“Congratulations! You have successfully revised your savings plan for Yello Save account. Save your Way to wealth!”

AGENT ASSISTED REGISTRATION

The agent will follow the process below;

Select Option 5 “Financial Services”

Select Option 2 “Savings”

Select Option 1 “Yello Save”

Select “Register”

- Enter Customer Number

- View Terms of Conditions (TOC)

The interest due will be displayed.

Customer can go ahead and complete the registration on his/her phone

HOW TO TOP UP/ DEPOSIT

1. Dial *170#

2. Select 'financial services'- 'Savings’

3. Select ‘Yello Save’

4. Transfer from ‘MM wallet’

5. Enter ‘Amount’

6. Confirm ‘Amount’

7. Enter ‘MM PIN’

8. You’ll receive an SMS notification confirming a successful transaction

HOW TO CHECK BALANCE

1. Dial *170#

2. Select 'financial services'- 'Savings’

3. Select ‘Yello Save’

4. Select ‘Check Balance’

5. Enter ‘Bank Pin’ (Y’ello Save PIN)

6. An SMS notification will be received containing the Yello Save balance

HOW TO WITHDRAW

1. Dial *170#

2. Select 'financial services'- 'Savings’

3. Select ‘Yello Save’

4. Transfer to ‘MM wallet’

5. Enter ‘Amount’

6. Confirm ‘Amount’

7. Enter ‘PIN’ (Y’ello Save PIN)

8. An SMS notification will be received containing the Yello Save balance.
