*944# (RESULTS CHECKER)

The WAEC USSD allows customers to purchase PIN for online results checker or receive their results via Text Message.

When the customer dials *944#, two options are presented; PIN and SMS Results Request.

PIN Option

This gives the user a voucher to use on WAEC’s online portal for a fee of Ghs10.00.

After dialing *944#, customer selects option 1 for PINS.

• Customer then chooses one of two options

1. Result Checker Voucher (ABCE, GBCE, BECE, WASSCE)

2. eResults Voucher (BECE Private- Remedial)

When customer selects either of the options, a Mobile Money payment method option is displayed.

Customer selects MTN Mobile Money, and enters his/her MoMo wallet number.

A pop-up directs the customer to dial *170# to select option 6 for wallet followed by option 3 for My Approvals.

Customer selects transaction and approves payment with the MoMo Pin.

SMS is sent to customer with PIN and Serial information for the online portal. The URL is https://eresults.waecgh.org

SMS Option

This sends the results to the customer via SMS for a fee of Ghs6.00.

After dialing *944#, user selects option 2 for SMS Results Request.

Customer then chooses one of two options;

1. BECE (School)

2. BECE (Private- Remedial)

• After selecting an option, the customer is made to enter the year of completion.

• User enters index number

• Choose Mobile Money Payment Method

• Selects MTN MoMo

• Enters the MoMo wallet number

• User is shown information entered, i.e. year and index number

• User confirms with 1 to proceed

• A pop-up directs the customer to dial *170# and select option 6 for wallet followed by option 3 for My Approvals.

• After approving transaction, an SMS is sent to customer with the results.
