Fixed Wireless Broadband (Turbo Net Router) is a router device that will work on the existing 4G spectrum and
the new 2600 MHz frequency to provide fast reliable internet to homes and business.
The device will work in only 4G coverage areas, it has no 3G or 2G capability, therefore making it non- functional in 3G or 2G coverage areas.
(Kindly note that customers can use the device in ONLY 4G areas and the internet connection does not downgrade to 3G/2G in the absence of 4G internet connection).
Customers will simply plug their router, turn on the switch and connect their devices to the router using the Wifi - key/ Password.
(indicated on the white sticker at the back of the router)
The devices will be sold with paired SIM cards, which are locked to the device and therefore will not work in any other device (another phone, modem, router, mifi or router).
N.B SIM card will be disabled once it is detected in another device. It can only be reconnected when it is inserted back into the Turbonet router
The device can connect up to 32 devices (phones, laptops, PC’s, game console etc.) and is available for sale at all our service centers and offers boosted 4G internet connection speeds depending on the location.

GHC 499 Customers will receive 2GB when they purchase new TurboNet routers. The 2GB offer is only for a month and valid for 30 days.

HOW TO TOP UP AIRTIME ON WIRELESS BROADBAND ACCOUNT NUMBER
1. Recharge airtime via MoMo

Please note that customers’ mobile phone numbers and email addresses are paired to the Wireless Broadband account numbers (same as fibre broadband)
and airtime can be transferred from mobile phone number to wireless broadband account number via option 5(airtime transfer) on *5057#.

Users of the device can top up using the following channels

HOW TO CHANGE WIFI PASSWORD/KEY
1. A device should be connected to the router
2. Enter the url 192.168.8.1 as the web address
3. Enter username and password
4. On the Web UI management page choose Settings
5. Select WLAN> WLAN Basic Settings.
6. Then change the Wi-Fi password in WLAN key. Then click Apply
DATA BUNDLE PACKAGES
The GHC 395 - 550GB data bundle will no longer be available for purchase. Customers can enter GHC 395 in the flexi option to buy their preferred data.
The moneyback 2GB data offer will be credited to DA – 105.
All data bundles are credited to DA 208 on concierge
TURBONET SIM VOICE COMPONENT
This is a service that will allow customers who use the Turbonet devices have an enhanced experience of making and receiving calls with their turbonet.
Number should be on the turbonet service class on concierge “WTTX” and Mobile Category Voice “Turbonet”
MECHANICS
Customer purchases a desk phone and connects to the turbonet device (Only Analogue desk phones are allowed for the service)
The turbonet should be connected to a power source and to the deskphone to enable customer make calls.
Customer needs to recharge turbonet with airtime to make calls. Charges for calls will be made from main turbonet account(Airtime and not data)
Customer makes calls directly from deskphone as SIM card is inserted in the turbonet device.
Calls made to and from the deskphone are channeled to the SIM card inserted in the Turbonet device.
On-net calls (calls to other MTN numbers) is free only on Mondays from 8am to 5pm.
Customer can check airtime balance of the turbonet number by calling 124 on deskphone.
Once customer has voice bonus(MOMO BONUS & BONUS ON RECHARGE) on account,
calls will be charged first from bonus balance before the main account.
NOTE
The offer is limited to all customers who have connected to TurboNet devices
