MTN Mobile Money in partnership with Ecobank Ghana is pleased to introduce a product known as “TBILL4ALL”

This is a mobile-money based investment service that allows customers to buy and manage Government of Ghana Treasury Bills from their mobile phones

With as little as Ghs1, the ordinary Ghanaian can register on the MTN Mobile Money platform and purchase government of Ghana Treasury bills.

A first time user must dial *770# or *170# for a one-time registration process. Once registered, the system recognizes the user by name and grants

access to product features including application, the interest calculator, rediscount, terms& conditions of the service, etc.

The customers’ mobile money wallet is credited on maturity

PRODUCT FEATURES 

1. A first time user must dial *770# or *170# for a one-time registration process. Once registered, the system recognizes the user by name and grants access to product features including application, the interest calculator, rediscount, FAQs and the terms and conditions of the service.

1. The interest calculator allows the prospective customer to have a fair idea of what his/ her investment will earn at maturity.

Rates used are those of the previous week and are only indicative and subject to change.

1. The rediscount functionality of the service allows customers to terminate their investments before maturity. Partial rediscount is currently unavailable on the service. This is to make the product even more user-friendly and less cumbersome.

1. The purchase of T-bills on the platform is a one-cycle transaction with a minimum investment of five Ghana Cedi. The customer’s mobile money wallet is credited on maturity and customers’ may reinvest matured proceeds as rollover is currently unavailable on the platform.

1. The product is supported by the Ecobank call center where trained and certified staff are available to provide the requisite support.
