MTN “Supa Dash” Promo will run from 9th November, 2017 to 9th May, 2018.
The Promotion is open to selected prepaid customers. Eligible prepaid customers for this promotion include
all prepaid customers who are not using the 4G handsets. Customers who are using a 4G phone, a 4G SIM card and
using the 4G network as at October 30, 2017 are not eligible for this promotion.
This is an offer that requires a customer to increase their usage (both voice and data) consistently over a six month
period and be rewarded with a smart phone.
Different targets will be set based on 16 main customer segments (bands
Customers will only be given the handset at the end of the month even if they meet their targets before then
Service class will change to MTN So Easy after customer activates the offer
Accumulator will be in DA 18
Customer’s tariff per min will be 0.105p once he on So Easy Call Plan
Customers who change their service class by activating MTN Zone or Nkomode will automatically be deactivated from the offer
They will have to reactivate the Supa dash promo and start accumulating points to win a smart phone
MECHANICS
Customers will send ‘start’ to short code 5011 or dial *5011# to subscribe to the offer. Once subscribed they will be tracked on a daily basis on how much data they are consuming.
SMS notification will be sent to the customer to inform them when they reached 50% of their set promo target.
Another SMS will be sent when they reach 90% of their promo target.
A final congratulatory message will be sent when the full promo target is achieved.
When a customer wants to check their usage status, they will send status to short code 5011.It will return an SMS of the following;
How much they have spent since they subscribed for the promo
How much they have to spend more to meet their promo target
How many months they have to go
At the end of the 6 month period customers who have met their target will be contacted and rewarded with their respective handsets.
Within the 6 month period a customer can subscribe at any time but they will have to meet the target by the end of the period to qualify for the device.
Once a customer subscribes they remain subscribed until the promo is over.
