MTN SELF SERVICE:[Available to Postpaid & Prepaid]
This is a service that allows all MTN subscribers to access and modify their accounts for free without visiting or calling any MTN office.
REGISTRATION OF PIN
The service is accessed through USSD, IVR and SMS. The customer should register a PIN through the,USSD or IVR. By dialing 1333 and follow the voice prompt.
The PIN can be changed through USSD, SMS or the IVR.
By SMS, customer will send the following request:
To register send: Reg 4 digit pin confirm 4 digit pin 1333; You will receive an SMS within a minute to confirm your request.
Through USSD, customer will dial *1333#
Through IVR, the customer will call 1333 follow the voice prompt to change his old Pin.
Services that can be accessed under Self Service
CLIR/SoCLIR Activation
*1333#, select 2(Access Services) then option 5
OR
CLIR: ( Caller Line Identification Restriction) This allows customers to restrict /withhold their number from the recipients.
To activate:
[CLIR <space> Activate<space> PIN to short code 1333]
To deactivate, type:
[CLIR<space> Deactivate<space> PIN to short code 1333]
SOCLIR:
This caller line restriction service gives the caller the option to choose who to reveal and who to hide his number from.
Please note that you need CLIR before you can opt for this service.
To activate:
[SOCLIR <space> Activate<space> PIN to short code 1333]
To deactivate, type:
[SOCLIR<space> Deactivate<space> PIN to short code 1333]
USSD PROCEDURE
• Activation: #31#destination [SEND]
• Deactivation:*31#destination[SEND]
• Get status:*#31# [SEND]
A monthly charge of GHC 2 will be deducted from prepaid subscribers account from the 1st to 3rd of every month.
If the subscriber does not have sufficient credits, the bundle will be disconnected.
1. CONNECTION AND DISCONNECTION OF SIM
Procedure: *1333#, select 2(Access Services) then option 1 or 2
OR
By SMS, the customer will send the following to short code 1333

By IVR, the customer will call 1333; follow the voice prompt.

IVR: the customer will call 1333; follow the voice prompt.
