PalmPay is an app on the Google play and Apple store that enables customers to Transfer funds and buy airtime and tpay bills using Mobile Money

REGISTRATION

After downloading the App, customers are required to register for the service with their details and their valid national ID

Incase customer enters wrong details, the account will be suspended and customer contacted to update the details.

If customer is unreachable after several attempts, the below message will be sent to the customer via SMS.

“Dear {Customer Name},

Your Palmpay registration information is incomplete. Please call our Toll-Free number, 0800725644 to update your details.”

MONEY TRANSFER

Launch the Palm Pay app

Select Money Transfer

Select the network[MTN]

Enter the receiver’s number

Enter Amount

Enter reason for the transfer

Select Payment Method

[Amount and fee charged are displayed]

Proceed payment by selecting “PAY”

Enter your Palm Pay PIN

[Money transfer has been submitted]

Select Pay USSD on the app

Dial *170# Select option 6 my wallet

Select option 3 my approvals

Enter MM PIN to approve the pending transaction

Customer receives SMS from Mobile Money indicating a successful transaction

UTILITIES [Water]

Launch the Palm Pay app

Select Utilities

Select Water

Enter Reference number[Account Number]

Enter Amount

Select Payment Method

[Amount and fee charged are displayed

Proceed payment by selecting “PAY”

Enter your Palm Pay PIN

Select Pay USSD on the app

Dial *170# Select option 6 my wallet

Select option 3 my approvals

Enter MM PIN to approve the pending transaction

Customer receives SMS from Mobile Money indicating a successful transaction

Launch the Palm Pay app

Select TV

Select Pay Tv

Enter Reference number[Smart card number]

Enter Amount

Select Payment Method

[Amount and fee charged are displayed]

Proceed payment by selecting “PAY”

Enter your Palm Pay PIN

[Bill payment has been submitted]

Select Pay USSD on the app

Dial *170# Select option 6 my wallet

Select option 3 my approvals

Enter MM PIN to approve the pending transaction

Customer receives SMS from Mobile Money indicating a successful transaction
