Master Account service will give PAYG customers the convenience of managing data bundle purchase for multiple MTN numbers

The services ensures that there is a Master and beneficiaries or dependents

A Master Account can add Up to 10 beneficiaries (MTN PAYG NUMBERS)

1. Master Account is the Number whose main account is charged and bundle is purchased for the PAYG numbers (beneficiary) added by the master

2. Dependent/ Beneficiary: It’s a number or Numbers (up to 10) that the master will set a request to bundle for and renewed automatically

How to create Beneficiaries:

Dial *513# follow the prompt

1. Add Beneficiary ------ (Prompt to Add and confirm Beneficiary Number) Y’ello you have successfully added XX

   1. Remove Beneficiary - Can be removed at any time and a new number added

   2. Purchase Bundle (All weekly and Monthly Bundles on 138)

   3. View Beneficiaries: Check list of Beneficiaries created

   4. Cancel Renewal: Remove beneficiary (can be done at any time)

All beneficiaries added receive SMS “Y’ello you have been added as a beneficiary of Data Bundles of MTN NUMBER XX via MTN master account”

Addition and Removal of numbers cannot be added in Bulk, but rather one after the other

Data Bundle Purchase: The Menu will display list of beneficiaries to allow selection then all Weekly and Monthly Bundles will display, for bundle purchase.

Bundle purchased will be charged from the Masters Main account and Credited to the Beneficiaries Data Bundle Account.

Same DA as when bundle is purchased from 138 directly.

The Master has the option to buy different bundles for all beneficiary lines. Both the Master and Beneficiary are notified of the bundle purchase and Bundle validity period.

1. Beneficiaries using 4G handsets will receive 100% on the data received, as well notifications on bundle usage at 50%, 90% and 100% will be triggered.

Automatic Renewal

1. Bundle purchased for the beneficiary has auto renewal set automatically until it’s deactivated. Auto renewal is set only on Expiry of the bundle.

The Master account is notified three (3) days before auto-renewal is due.

“Y’ello! Your number <XX> with GHC <x> monthly bundle allocation is due for auto-renewal on <date>.

Your current balance on main account is GHC <n>.”

Notification is given upon successful renewal or failure to both the Master Account and the Beneficiary

Roll over will fail when the Master has insufficient balance on the main account
