To provide customers the ease and convenience to request for their MoMo Statement, an option has been provided on the 170

Menu to enable customer’s process their own request.

Customers can dial *170#

Select option 6 for MY Wallet

Option 4 for Statement Request

Two Options Available Under Statement Request

• Subscribe to Monthly Statement

• Request for Statement

1. Subscribe to Monthly Statement:

This option will enable customers request to receive a statement of their account Month on Month at the beginning of every new month (First Week of the New Month) at a charge of 0.50p each month

Dial *170#, Select Option 6 for Wallet, then 4

The customer will be redirected to enter their MoMo pin to allow monthly charging of 0.50p from the MoMo wallet for bill delivery.

“Y’ello you have subscribed to Monthly Mobile Money Statement at 0.50p per month. Bill will be delivered within the 1st week of each new month.

1. Request for Statement

This option will provide customers access to request for Statement for a Specific Period (A duration of 2 years history from the date of request)

Request for Statement for a specific period (Two Years history available)

The requester must enter the date in this format DD MM Year (From Date: 01 06 2016 TO Date: 01 06 2018) Data will only be available from June, 2016 at the pilot commencement

The Bill is sent to the email account provided upon successful charging (email sender is Service_MMStatement.GH@mtn.com)

Option however will be available to Unsubscribe from the Monthly MoMo Statement Request and also an option to change the Initial email address provided

Customers who have insufficient funds in their wallets will be prompted for either monthly or specified period request to load their wallets to receive their statement “Mobile money statement delivery failed due to insufficient funds.

Kindly load your wallet with 0.50 to receive your statement within the next two days

This service will be available to Only MoMo Subscribers, merchants are exempted.
