The MTN MoMoPay is a feature that allows subscribers make payments to Merchants that accept payments (solely).

The feature is categorized into 4 profiles namely;

i. MTNGH MoMoPay Gold Merchant Profile

ii. MTNGH MoMoPay SIlver Merchant Profile

iii. MTNGH MoMoPay Bronze Merchant Profile

v. MTNGH MoMoPay Bronze MSIM Merchant Profile( merchants who are given new sim cards after registration)

These profiles mentioned above are categorized based on their limits as shown below;

MTNGH MoMoPay Profile – This profile maintains the 3 standard subscriber profiles such as the Enhanced, Medium and Minimum profiles

MoMoPay Merchant Payment Process

Merchant dials *171# to access the MoMoPay Menu

Option 1 ‘Transfer to Merchant’ - Used to make payment to another MoMo Pay merchant account

Option 2 ‘Transfer to own Account’ – Used to make payment to the merchant main account

Option 3 ‘Check Balance’ – Used to check MoMoPay Balance

Option 4 ‘Mimi Statement’ – Used to check MoMoPay account Ministatement

Option 5 ‘View MoMoPay ID’ – Used to view a merchants MoMoPay Id

Option 6 ‘Transfer to Bank’ – Used to transfer cash from the merchants MoMoPay account to he/she’s Bank account

Option 7 ‘Pay To’ - Used to transfer funds from MoMoPay merchant normal/main account to an Agent or subscriber

Option 8 ‘Check main Account balance’ - – Used to check main account balance
