AYO RECHARGE WITH CARE: Premium deduction per calendar month per policy is 4GHC
This is a prepaid and postpaid bill payment service that allows customers make ECG payments via *226# and be debited from their Momo wallets.
Short code is available for all networks but MTN Users can make payment from their Momo wallets.
Kindly find below payment process:
1. Dial *226# and select option 1 for top-up prepaid
2. Enter 8 digits meter number after which a confirmation of details with customer’s meter full name and address will be displayed.
3. Customer can proceed to choose option 1 for mobile money deduction from his/her wallet or option 2 for others which gives you option to make payment by entering another MTN wallet number:
4. Customer enters amount to be paid and selects option 1 to enable deduction from account.
5. There will be a pop up which reads “Thank you. Your Payment request has been sent. Click ok or dismiss and wait for validation prompt”.
6. Once customer selects “ok”, he/she will be requested to enter mobile money pin to complete payment; promptly followed up with a confirmatory message via sms.
To make payment for others as indicated in option 2;
1. Customer selects option 2 to enable deduction from either an MTN number or off-net numbers. (Airtel – Tigo / Vodafone)
2. For Other MTN numbers, customer will receive a prompt to authorize payment by entering their Momo Pin
3. For payment via other networks, customers are to generate a voucher which will be needed during the process of payment.
4. Once voucher is entered, customer is then required to enter number used for voucher generation.
5. Then proceed to enter payment amount after which a pop will be received indicating below ; "
“Thank you. Your Payment request has been sent. Click ok or dismiss and wait for validation prompt” will be displayed and once customer selects “ok”.
Customer is then requested to complete a successful payment by entering mobile money pin; promptly followed up with an SMS to confirm receipt of payment.
POSTBILL PAYMENT
For pay bill or post bill payment, customer will have to dial *226# and select option 2 for pay bill.
1. Enter postpaid 10 digits meter number
2. Confirm meter holder
3. Confirm wallet to be debited
4. Enter amount
5. Wait for authorization
6. Enter pin to complete payment
NOTES
1. Successful payment deduction will show on ECW and named ECGPrepaid
2. This payment option is only available for customers on Smart Prepayment meters
3. Customers who are not on smart meter will receive a notification that they are not eligible when they enter their account numbers"
