Below are the TERMS & CONDITIONS for the Data Rollover option on 138.
Roll over selection is available on data bundle purchases and is triggered on bundle exhaustion and expiry.
1. Effective3rd August, 2017 roll over for customers would be done on the last data bundle purchased with the rollover option activated.
EXAMPLE if the customer has a rollover on the Ghc5.00, Ghc199.00 and Ghc349.00 purchased in that order.
The rollover would be on the last data bundle purchased which will be the Ghc349.00.
2. Customer’s data bundle will be renewed when bundle is exhausted (Please note however that customer must have enough credits in his account at the time it exhausts to enable the renewal to be done.
E.g. if customer has a roll over on the Ghc349.00 bundle, customer should have the same amount of Ghc349.00 or more for the rollover to go through.
3. Customers would be notified on below Notifications:
Notification SMS customer would receive on the last data bundle purchased.
Y'ello! You have subscribed to the xxGB bundle purchased on xx-xxx-201xat xx:xx PM, Subscription on all previous bundles purchased are cancelled. Enjoy the best value with renewals on bundle expiry or exhaustion. To stop renewal, SMS STOP to 138. Thank you!
SMS Notification of auto-renewal 3 days before expiry for all bundles except Daily bundles.
“Yello, please note that your GHC10 internet bundle will expire on xx-xxx-201x. Renewal attempt will begin on xx-xxx-201x, to stop renewal SMS STOP to 138. Keep your balance high and Enjoy the Fastest Internet with MTN's 4G”.
On 138 balance check notification, the date when the customer is due for auto-renewal will be shown.
When a rollover fails. Due to customer having less that amount to be rolled over, SMS Notification customer will receive is:
Yello, your Internet Bundle subscription renewal (attempt) failed due to insufficient balance.
Please topup by xx-xxx-201x12:00AM to rollover your remaining balance.
If the roll over is successful, customer would receive below SMS Notification
Yello, your expiring internet bundle has been renewed for GHCXX.XX and valid until xx-xxx-201x. Keep topping up your account and carry your remaining bundle from your previous purchase.
Customers with Multiple Roll Over options will be notified via sms before the change is affected.
