Bulk SMS service is a service that allows customers to send SMS online.

With this service, customers can send SMS to many numbers at the same time at a reduced rate without a third party.

Customers do not need to purchase a bulk SMS SIM cards to enable them access the service.

This service is linked to customers prepaid account.

Customers can only register for the service with prepaid numbers

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE

Customers who want to subscribe for the Bulk SMS service must visit the link below to register.

Click on Register

Select the required category Eg. Individual

Fill online form with name, phone number, etc and attach any required documents

Click “Submit” to submit the form

Once registration is approved, an SMS with details login to Bulk SMS services portal will be received by the customer on his/her phone

HOW DO I SEND BULK SMS

Once registered, simply go to (http://bulksms.mtn.com.gh/Pages/Login.aspx ). Enter your phone number and your password to access the service.

Click on SMS bundle under Service Manager to purchase SMS bundle. Once the bundle is purchased the amount is deducted from the customer’s main account.

To send, enter the phone numbers of recipients (separated by comma), SMS Text (the message) and sender’s name.

Customers have the option to upload a file such as word or excel which contains the phone numbers.

To check bulk SMS balance simply click on Service manager to check your balance

To edit their profiles customers can simply click on edit profile on the portal to edit your profile.

When you forget your password, simply log onto (http://bulksms.mtn.com.gh/Pages/Login.aspx) and click on Retrieve now to reset your password.

Details of bulk SMS of customers such as number of messages sent and the balance remaining are not available on concierge

Customers cannot transfer part of their Bulk SMS bundle

Bulk messages cannot be sent by customers in the name of MTN. Any name that includes MTN will be rejected.

Deductions for bulk SMS bundle purchase will appear as adjustments (Refill CDR) in call detail glance on concierge
