Finding the Norm of the Laplacian Operator Using Deep Neural Networks (Spring 2023)
AI and deep learning are developing rapidly and bring new tools to solve mathematical problems. We aim at using these new tools to solve the problem of finding norms of differential operators. We start with reformulating the problem as an optimization problem and then use neural networks to solve the problem. Both theoretical analysis and numerical computations are expected to be carried out.
