About the workshop
The Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science, Alexandria University, and the American Political Science Association(APSA) organized a graduate online workshop on “Visualising the Doctoral Thesis.” The three-day workshop was designed with the specific intention of improving candidates’ capabilities to undertake doctoral research and present theses that are more closely aligned with these expectations. It focuses particularly on how postgraduate candidates can raise levels of thinking about their topic, research process, and contribution(s) to knowledge. The workshop was targeted to all post-graduate students; however, priority given to Ph.D. students. The language used was both English and Arabic.
The workshop was held online on April 6-8, 2021 (10:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and led by Dr. Islam Abdelbary (Senior Research Consultant and Assistant Professor of Economics at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology).
