Alexandria Network for Tobacco Control  ( June  2009 – January 2011)

• • Representative civil society in Alexandria smoke-free initiative and Coordinate between NGOs, governmental and international organizations to Support Smoke-free Public Places, Encourage tobacco users to quit and Increase pro-health knowledge related to tobacco in public schools.

  • Develop and implement quality management strategy and plans, including resources, systems, timescales, financials, to support and integrate within the organization’s annual business plan and long-term strategy. 

  • Responsible for coordinating with the WHO Representative Office to develop new scientific researches and improve existing tobacco control surveillance system in tobacco control in Egypt:

    • •  Alexandria Adult Tobacco Survey (AATS).

      • Monitoring the smoking scene in TV Series "Ramadan 2009".

      • Advanced analysis for a smoking scene in TV Series “Ramadan 2010 “, with a comparative study between the results “Ramadan 2009 “, “Ramadan 2010 “, and describe the relationship between drama and indirect promotion of Tobacco.

      • Measurement of the change in tobacco use during the holy fasting month of Ramadan in Egyptian Society.

The National Council for Childhood and Motherhood - Egyptian Aflatoun program (September  2008 – February 2009)

Project Coordinator in Alexandria 

(Aflatoun program is inclusive program about students capacity  building in the public schools)

• • Implement and follow up the Program in schools.

  • Coordinate with the school administration and trainers to guarantee the smooth Implementation of the process.
