The 5th IAHR Asian Working Group Symposium on Hydraulic Machinery and Systems (IAHR-Asia 2025), organized by the Korean Society for Fluid Machinery (KSFM), brought together leading researchers and industry experts from China, Japan, Korea, and a few other countries to exchange the latest advancements in hydraulic machinery and systems.
Volunteering at IAHR-Asia 2025 offers me a valuable opportunity to support the organization of a prestigious international conference while gaining exposure to the latest advances in water resources and hydraulic research.
It was a nice experience to work as a Staff member on the 100th Anniversary of ICTAM-International Congress of the Theoretical and Applied Mechanics - new Dimensional Experiences, allowing me to meet many scholars from around the world.
It was a new dimensional Experience for me to meet lots of Scholars around the world as a part of the International Conference
I had the privilege of launching the IUBAT Physics Olympiad 2021 under the Department of Mechanical Engineering. I took charge of the initial planning, designing the structure of the competition, and coordinating with faculty members to set everything in motion. I led the online promotion campaign, creating and sharing digital posters, managing registration links, and ensuring the event reached students across the colleges of Bangladesh.
In 2020, I had the opportunity to guide the Mechanical Engineering Department’s long study tour to Sajek and Khagrachari, alongside faculty member Nayem Hossain. The tour brought together more than 30 enthusiastic students, creating a memorable academic and field experience. From coordinating the journey to supporting students throughout the tour, it was a rewarding opportunity to contribute to their learning beyond the classroom.
During the IUBAT Mechanical Cricket Tournament (IMCT-2017), I had the privilege of serving as an umpire, as one of my proudest moments. Holding the responsibility of ensuring fair play and maintaining the spirit of the game allowed me to contribute to the tournament in a meaningful way. The recognition I received as an umpire not only reflects my dedication to the event but also represents a memorable chapter of my involvement with the IUBAT Mechanical community.
In 2016, I took a stand against terrorism in Bangladesh by actively promoting peace, awareness, and unity within my community. Through discussions, campaigns, and public encouragement, I joined others in advocating for a safer and more tolerant society. It was a meaningful moment where I felt proud to contribute to the collective voice against violence and extremism.
