1. Title: Fault-tolerant control
Status: Current Project
Most systems around us are nonlinear. Nonlinear systems are frequently associated with uncertainties. Proper addressing of uncertainty using active fault-tolerant control can increase the effectiveness. H-infinity and µ synthesis can limit the uncertainty of a highly dynamic system when they work simultaneously, and these two techniques could be ideal tools for addressing the uncertainties and fault diagnosis. I am working on designing a robust system using H-infinity/µ synthesis.

2. Title: CFD Analysis of the Effect of Plain Flap Deflection on NACA 2415 with a Leading-Edge Slat at Different Angles of Attack
Status: Accepted for an Int'l Conference
Abstract: The importance of designing a more proficient airfoil in working with an effective flap and slat to increase lift force, reduce stall formation, or delay flow separation has become one of the main concerns of aerodynamicists. Keeping that fact in mind, a multi-element airfoil NACA-2415 with NACA-22 leading-edge slat at a specific 25˚ angle and a plain flap with three angle deflections (0˚, 15˚, 30˚) have been studied in this work. The outcome of varied deflections of the plain flap with various Angles of Attack (AOA) has been scrutinized. This study also specifies the critical AOA and CLmax for this multi-element airfoil's flap deflection. The whole profile is designed in SOLIDWORKS and simulated in ANSYS Fluent. The simulation is performed at a high Reynolds number.
3. Title: Effect of Chemical Treatment and Silicon Carbide (SiC) Fillers on Mechanical Properties and Water Absorption Tendency of Sisal/Glass Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Composites: A TOPSIS Algorithm Based Comparative Study
Status: Accepted for an Int'l Conference
Abstract: In this work, an experimental study has been carried out to investigate the mechanical properties and water absorption tendency of sisal/glass fiber reinforced epoxy composites filled with Silicon Carbide (SiC) with greater attention to the chemical treatments of sisal fibers under identical test conditions. The effects of alkaline and silane treatment over the surface of sisal fibers and different proportions of SiC filler particles on the mechanical characteristics and water absorption rate have also been analyzed. Since each composite sample shows unique benefits and drawbacks for different properties, the findings, however, are unable to indicate the capabilities of exhibiting the highest performance in an orderly manner. For this reason, the Technique for Order Preferences by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) has been implemented using MATLAB to categorize the composite specimens from best to worst.

Abstract: GPS/INS integrated system provides a more precise position of an aircraft compared to an individual system. The objective of this paper is to propose a loosely coupled GPS/INS integrated system with Kalman Filter (KF) and Complementary Filter (CF). The integration has been carried out in two techniques. Firstly the systems are integrated using KF. Secondly, the same is done by applying both KF and CF. In this paper, a comparative study of these two techniques is addressed with the help of MATLAB simulation.
