The truth is that the ecosystem that this island held just wasn't prepared for whatever other company produced those things on that island. There are still some dinosaurs, but those dinosaurs had affected the ecosystem so much that the other previous inhabitants couldn't evolve in time to survive. Plus, more and more poachers and tourists were coming to the island which would cause more human and dinosaur interaction. This isn't good for people or for the dinosaurs. If they get poached, then they won't know what to do. That is because not adapted yet to the presence of humans on the island. So, what happened to Isla Sorna? Well, it's just the fact that dangerous new invasive species were introduced which broke the fragile ecosystem, and humans came and then killed some of the dinosaurs causing chaos to go through the ecosystem as the dinosaurs desperately clinging on to what they had when they just couldn't. In conclusion, the ecosystem was already so brittle so when the new dinosaurs were introduced, they couldn't adapt. When the humans came, they couldn't find out quick enough they were dangerous. We know there are still dinosaurs, it's just that now since then they have decreased to a very, very, small number.
