1925

An island off of Costa Rica is discovered by Diego Fernandez in a chain of islands that would be named Las Cinco's Muertes, or the five deaths. This island is named Isla Sorna, which means "Sarcasm Island" or "Irony Island".

1926

A tribe of humans is discovered to be living on the island of Isla Sorna.

1982-1995

This is the time frame from when we owned the island and conducted experiments on this island. Isla Sorna served as the factory floor for "Jurassic Park" and was where all of the dinosaurs were created. Now anyway, back to the beginning. In 1982, we would lease this island from the Costa Rican government so that we could do genetic research. This lease would last 99 years so that we had enough time to get all the information we would need. We also had encountered a group of banana plantation workers on the island, so we would have to force them off. During the rest of the 1980s the island would begin to be home to some of our facilities, such as the aforementioned embryonic administration and the worker village. We would also have built a geothermal power plant as a matter of providing power to the facilities on the island. Then later on in 1986 we would construct a de-extinct research facility. This would be where we would clone most of the dinosaurs for Jurassic Park. In 1988, these dinosaurs would be sent off to the park on Isla Nublar. But we had kept some in small paddocks to continue researching. In the 1990's an aviary was built on the island, and more dinosaurs would be cloned. In 1995, Hurricane Clarissa would strike the island, most paddocks on the island were left unguarded with security measures off, allowing the dinosaurs to escape into the wild.

1997

A team of our harvesters come to the island to take the dinosaurs to Jurassic Park: San Diego. This mission would fail miserably and would result in the San Diego Incident.

1998-2005

Unfortunately, just a year after the San Diego incident, a terrible ecological disaster would strike the already very brittle ecosystem of the island destroying any sort of order within it. This was caused by a series of tests that took place over 9 months on the island. The dinosaurs cloned within this experiment were strange and were not on our list. So, we suspect a malicious force had cloned these dinosaurs and may be planning to blame us for it. The dinosaurs cloned in these experiments were ankylosaurus, ceratosaurus, spinosaurus, and corythosaurus. These dinosaurs would destroy the ecosystem and kill nearly all the dinosaurs on the island. Most of the remaining, including the new inhabitants, would be taken away to the ill-fated Jurassic World.

PRESENT DAY

The island today is known to have several species still living on it according to the continuous observation by the Costa Rican government, it has also been reported that 4 raptors are still alive on the island. This suggests that there are still some larger herbivores for the raptors to feed upon.
