About AIMLab
The Advanced and Intelligent Manufacturing Research Laboratory (AIMLab) was established to advance innovation and excellence in manufacturing research and education. AIMLab's mission is centered on two primary goals:
To Serve as an Additive Manufacturing Hub for Undergraduate Projects: AIMLab functions as an active center where undergraduate students can bring their design and manufacturing projects to life. By facilitating additive manufacturing practices and hands-on experimentation, an enriching environment is created for students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts, fostering creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
To Provide a Collaborative Environment for Research on Advanced Manufacturing Techniques at the Graduate Level: At AIMLab, a research environment is provided to enable the exploration of advanced and intelligent manufacturing methodologies. Efforts are concentrated on expanding knowledge in areas such as smart manufacturing, and digital twins. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, students and researchers are encouraged to generate innovative solutions and new insights that drive advancements in the manufacturing field.
In AIMLab, projects in mechanical and mechatronics engineering are planned to be undertaken, with a commitment to enhancing industry-relevant skills and academic growth. AIMLab seeks to make meaningful contributions to the future of manufacturing through the integration of cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and continuous innovation.
