Marketing Professor, NLP-AI Enthusiast, Foodie and Blogger
I am an Assistant Professor in the marketing area and the first Thomas and Charlene Landsberg Smith Faculty Fellow in the Wisconsin School of Business in UW Madison. My areas of interest are applications of AI and unstructured data analytics in Marketing.
My research has been published in premium marketing journals like Journal of Marketing Research and Review of Marketing Research. My dissertation based JMR article is a co-winner of the Donald R. Lehmann Award, 2023. My dissertation was awarded an honorary mention at the John A. Howard Doctoral Dissertation Awards, 2022 and has won the AMS/Mary Kay Doctoral Dissertation Award.
I have a PhD in Quantitative Marketing area from Yale School of Management and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta! Prior to starting doctoral studies at Yale, I worked in marketing , sales and consulting in the Asia Pac region for Accenture Management Consulting & Mondelez International.
