In July 2021, I embarked on a new adventure with Inquiry Classroom, a platform I co-created with my husband. Together, we wanted to build a space that offers practical teaching-strategy videos, ready-to-use resources, and active IB teacher communities where educators can connect and get support from experienced PYP practitioners. As an IB PYP educator, I noticed that resources for CBSE and ICSE are easy to find on platforms like Google and YouTube, but finding PYP-specific content that is accurate, practical, and framework-aligned is still not easily available. Inquiry Classroom was our way of filling that gap and supporting educators around the world.
To bridge this gap, I started creating blog posts and videos, along with modern and colorful posters focused on ATL skills, Transdisciplinary themes, Learner Profile Attributes, and comprehensive lesson plans and task cards. My aim is to provide innovative teaching methods and strategies that embrace inquiry-based learning, making complex concepts more accessible for students.
This journey has been incredibly rewarding! Through Inquiry Classroom, I’ve connected with passionate educators worldwide, received heartwarming feedback, and built a community centered around shared learning. On LinkedIn, I am honored to hold two prestigious Top Voice badges for Top Educational Technology Voice and 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞. This recognition is a testament to the impact I hope to make in the field of education. Driven by my passion for teaching, I’m committed to inspiring others and learning from this amazing global community. 𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥: While teaching is my lifelong passion, I also believe in maintaining balance between professional responsibilities and personal relaxation. For me, vlogging is that balance. In my free time, I run a family vlog YouTube channel called V RAJ AND ISHA, where I share snippets of my family’s travels, daily life, family functions and special events. What started as a weekend hobby to relax and unwind has turned into a beautiful journey of self-expression. Additionally, you can connect with me on Facebook, where I share updates and engage with my community.
Despite my busy schedule, I ensure I take the time to vlog because it helps me relax and clear my mind. Vlogging has been more than just fun—it has pushed me out of my comfort zone, turning me from a camera-shy person into someone completely confident in front of the lens. It’s a reminder that even while we work hard in our professions, it’s essential to nurture our passions and find outlets that bring us joy and help us recharge.
