Evolving from its roots as the premier local gathering established in 2017, the event has transformed into the V International Symposium on Computational Molecular Sciences. While we honor our origins as the Simposio Bogotano, this renaming reflects our expanded scope and commitment to connecting the local scientific community with the global vanguard of computational research.

Our mission remains steadfast: to foster high-level academic exchange, stimulate inter-institutional collaboration, and bridge the gap between theoretical models and real-world applications.

For this Fifth Edition (2026), we are proud to be hosted by Universidad del Rosario , continuing a legacy of excellence established by Universidad Nacional, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana , and Universidad El Bosque.
