Apart from a stellar resume, a letter of recommendation is the only document that validates your achievements, personal attributes and skills from someone else. This document is imperative in proving your worthiness and credibility.
Asking for Letters of Recommendation Properly
Students requesting a letter of recommendation are required to complete and submit to this form to the teacher of whom they are requesting the letter. Students have also been informed that teachers may deny their request for any of the following reasons:
Students have not completed the required paperwork i.e. the completed form.
The teacher does not feel that they cannot write a strong enough recommendation.
The teacher has an abnormally large number of recommendation requests.
The request was not made an appropriate amount of time before it was due (at least one month).
