New AI-Based "Wave" Tracking Software Demo Features Velocity R Software:
New artificial intelligence based software from MotionInput Games, London opens opportunities for people with disabilities as well as the able-bodied to play video games in new ways. The video demonstration below highlights how new video game options are more inclusive. The new software is available for download currently without cost.
We recently updated a tutorial on this software. We demonstrate how the software utilizes a windows-based PC laptop to track motion from the gamer's wrist. This is a new way to play video games without using an actual physical controller. It's a way that some people without fine motor skills may use the video camera on a laptop and track their wrist.
In addition to the new motion tracking capacities, there are virtual icons that give visual feedback on the screen and the icons create virtual buttons or a virtual controller on-screen. When the app is loaded, the virtual buttons can be slid across the screen and be moved to make the game more accessible and more playable for a larger number of persons.
Our website is designed to share information on new ways for people with disabilities to play music, create art with ways to track movement from facial expressions as well as to play video games and interact with computer more successfully. Please share our postings with groups or individuals that you think might be able to benefit!
Thanks!
