Venue

The Science:

The conference will take place at VilVite (Norwegian for WantToKnow), an interactive science museum for kids, located in a 3 minute walking distance from the Geophysical Institute. Here we have access to an auditorium (see the background picture in the banner above) with a maximum capacity of 146 persons, and a seminar room, that will host the exhibition during the four days. The permanent poster exhibition will take place in the foyer area right outside the auditorium, where we also will have our coffee breaks and lunches.

The Ice Breaker:

The Ice breaker will be organized on Tuesday 01.08. from 17:30 - 20:00 in the cantina (with a nice outside are in case the weather gods are nice with us!) of the Geophysical Institute, just a short walk from the conference location.

The Conference Dinner:

For the  conference dinner on Thursday evening we will meet in a restaurant (Lanternen, Thormølensgate 51B, 5006 Bergen) close by the conference site.
