About ISAM 2022

The International Seminar on Advances in Mathematics 2022 (ISAM-2022) is a seminar/Webinar organized by the Department of Mathematics of Avvaiyar Government College for Women, Karaikal-609602 in the Union Territory of Puducherry in Hybrid Mode on the account of 135 th Birth Anniversary of the great Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan., which is celebrated as the National Mathematics Day on 22-December every year. The main aim of this international seminar is to bring together the experts in the field of Mathematics both National and International together in a common platform imparting the knowledge to the student community.

Objectives of the International Seminar

The main objective of this International Seminar on Advances in mathematics is to provide forum for the students to exchange ideas, to communicate and discuss new advances in mathematical sciences.

The International Seminar would also enable participants to explore possible avenues to foster the Latest advances in Mathematics within and outside the country.

The International Seminar will give opportunity to students to communicate and discuss the latest and Advances in Mathematics with Mathematical experts both national and International.

This International seminar also encourages the UG and PG students to present papers / Posters of their Mathematical Ideas and Knowledge.

Outcomes of the International Seminar

At the end of the seminar, the Participants, especially UG and PG students gain the knowledge in the latest Advances in Mathematics and hence induces the target participants to update their knowledge on the latest advances in mathematics in them.

The Paper and poster presentations by students, encourages them to present/ innovate new interdisciplinary ideas in future evens organized by the Institution.

Apart from the curriculum based education, this International conference makes students think individually and perform scientific innovations.
