Welcome to my website!
In December 2024, I successfully defended my PhD thesis, “Shaping Outcomes: Evaluation of Policy Effectiveness in Innovation, Trade, and Health", under the joint supervision of Lionel Nesta and Andrea Mina, and as part of the joint PhD Programme between GREDEG CNRS Université Côte d'Azur (Nice) and the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies (Pisa). It was recently awarded the DESPEG Thesis Prize.
My PhD Committee included Joanna Chataway (UCL), Pauline Givord (INSEE), Kieron Flanagan (UoM), Arianna Martinelli (SSSA) and Michele Pezzoni (UniCa).
My Job Market Paper is entitled: "How Effective is National Breast Cancer Screening? Evidence from a Regression Discontinuity on French Data"
My research lies at the intersection of applied microeconometrics and empirical policy evaluation, with a focus on innovation, international trade, and health.
Using quasi-experimental designs for ex-post evaluations, I analyze the causal effects of policy interventions on their intended objectives and assess their broader socio-economic impacts. My work aims to provide robust and credible evidence by evaluating not only the effectiveness, impact, and cost of policies, but also by understanding their social implications within the affected populations.
