LED Story
Mabuhay!
Honestly, I joined the LED just to comply as mandated. That my life will become totally absorbed by the course was a blessing because I have to admit I am one among many who always thought that when traditional office functions and tasks were done, it is everything. Today, I am a better public servant, empowered to empower in the name of economic development not only for myself and my family but to others around me and my community.
· The agency where I work already established measures and policies to address the issues brought about by COVID-19 Pandemic. What should be done next and how to go about programming projects and services to divert economic development in the community is a challenge.
· Like connections and linkages, there is a need to start spreading positive individual attributes, and improved managerial perspectives to see a socio-economic impact that is beneficial not to a selected few or personally but to the community.
· So much work is needed to understand other perspectives and to integrate the roles of partners in the name of partnership, collaboration, and connection can eventually bring successful outcomes.
· Communities have diverse needs and collaboration on entrepreneurial and corporate mindset should be maximized by LED actors to enable, facilitate, and complement available and existing programs of the government for a start.
· In order to make things happen in the economic sector, leaders need to be capacitated and empowered together with the visions and wisdom of Dr. Aser Javier so to understand fully and be enlightened on the core functions and roles stated in RA 7160 and its mandates in the real essence of every word!
· Public- Private partnerships when utilized to its full potentials can do much to improve the local business investment climate where they nurture together, goals can be achieved. Moreover, risks can be transferred to the private sector to effect more efficient development and lessen the burden of the LGU or the government.
· Entrepreneurship creates jobs, new enterprises, diversified opportunities and accelerates the process of local economic development, and LED can help individuals set up their own businesses.
· Tourism based development in communities encourage economic development being the fastest growing industry in the Philippines.
· We need to build an entrepreneurial team and create a teamwork for collaborative partnerships of peoples and agencies that enables, complements and facilitates to bring about empowered leaders and powerful mindsets.
The Bible, in John 10:10, Jesus said, “The thief cometh not but for to steal and to destroy, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
God designed us to enjoy abundance and wills for us to share this abundance. We only have to seek his guidance through our lessons in LED so that our eyes will be opened to calls of times, our feet be led to his grounds which is the community where we are planted, and be possessed by LED wisdom on how to do it, taking courage as empowered leaders and be blessings to our fellow human beings.
Thank you LED, God bless you more!

LED Story
To be honest, I joined the LED only to comply with the rules. It was a blessing that the course would completely consume my life. Because I must admit that I was one of many who believed that once typical office responsibilities and chores were completed, it was the end of the world. Today, I am a better public servant, empowered to empower not just myself and my family, but also others around me and my community, in the sake of economic growth.
The organization where I work has already put in place procedures and policies to address the concerns caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic. It is difficult to know what to do next and how to approach programming initiatives and services to promote economic growth in the neighborhood.
Similar to links and linkages, there is a need to begin spreading positive human traits and enhanced management viewpoints in order to see a socio-economic impact that benefits the community rather than a chosen few.
A great deal of effort is required to comprehend other people's viewpoints and to integrate the responsibilities of partners in the name of partnership, cooperation, and connection.
Communities have various needs, and collaboration on entrepreneurial and corporate mindsets should be utilized by LED players to enable, facilitate, and complement current and existing government initiatives to begin.
In order to make things happen in the economic sector, leaders must be capacitated and empowered to completely comprehend and be enlightened on the essential functions and roles outlined in RA 7160.
When used to their full capacity, public-private partnerships may do a lot to improve the local business investment climate where they work together to achieve goals. Furthermore, risks can be passed to the private sector to achieve more efficient development and reduce the LGU's load.
Entrepreneurship generates employment, new companies, diversifies possibilities, and speeds up the process of local economic development, and LED may assist individuals in establishing their own firms.
Tourism-based development in communities promotes economic growth as the Philippines' fastest growing industry.
We must construct an entrepreneurial team and a collaborative partnership of enablers, complements, and facilitators with empowered leaders and powerful attitudes.
