Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Deadline: Submit abstracts by 31st December 2024.
Word Limit: Maximum of 300 words.
Format:
Title: Arial, Size 14, Bold, Sentence Case, max. 15 words.
Authors: Arial, Size 12.
Affiliation: Arial, Size 12.
Contact Email ID: Required.
Abstract Body: Maximum 300 words.
Key Words: Arial, Size 12, Include up to 5 key points and avoid repetition from the title.
File Name: Use the format FirstName_LastName_Affiliation.
Oral Presentation Guidelines
Oral Presentation Guidelines
- Duration: Presentations should last for 10 minutes, followed by 3 minutes Q&A.
- Software: Use Microsoft PowerPoint for slides.
- Themes: Presentations will be categorized into specific subject areas.
- Evaluation: Three best presentations will be awarded in each category.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
Poster Presentation Guidelines
- Size: Maximum dimensions are 3 ft (breadth) × 4 ft (length).
- Presentation: Posters must be printed and displayed in the assigned area.
- Content: Ensure readability from at least 3 feet away, with clear images and concise text.
Hackathon Rules
Hackathon Rules
A group event in which the contestants will be tasked to think critically and innovatively to solve some of the most pressing challenges faced in the management of ageing and age-related disorders. The participants should bring their own team to contest and shall choose one from the provided theme and receive the problem statement on the first day of the event. The group should present and discuss their hypothesis as a solution to the problem before the panel on the second day. Three best presentations will be awarded.
- Team Composition: A team should consist of 4 members.
- Challenge: Teams will choose from provided themes and receive tasks on Day 1.
- Presentation: Solutions must be presented to the panel on Day 2.
- Judging Criteria: Innovation, feasibility, and impact.
Awareness Stalls
Awareness Stalls
A team will be given a space to create awareness from the given stall on a critical aspect of Ageing or Ageing associated Disorder. The team may distribute pamphlets, play awareness visuals and audios, display posters, show demostrations in the stalls to create awareness on the chosen topic. Best stalls will be awarded.
- Team: Each group (>4 members) represents one institution.
- Theam: Focus on creating awareness about an age-related complications.
