(1) This artifact was a Yearbook project that I made after reading The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. We got to choose our own books to read and provide a final project on, and I chose this book specifically because I deeply admire the world of Tolkien and all of the Middle-Earth Trilogies that seem to bring you into a world of excitement and hope. For this project, I had to provide information about 8 characters from the story and provide detailed descriptions of their impact on the storyline. Next, I had to write about 4 major events of the story and describe what was happening in those events. After that, I explained why I chose this specific book and the specific Yearbook project, in which I said, "The reason I chose to do a Yearbook project is that I love to piece together aspects of a story. Before I joined VPOC (my online school), I was going to be in the Yearbooks club, making yearbooks for West Hall (my base/home school)." And finally, I wrote a Critic Review page, where I analyzed The Hobbit as a whole, in which I spoke extremely positively about it due to the nature and effect of the book on me personally.
(2) To complete this artifact, I used a great variety of transferable skills, including professional writing, research & information gathering, and attention to detail. When writing this project, I was careful to perform to my most efficient extent by analyzing my writing. Through writing professionally, I conveyed my message in a clear and thorough way, which is essential to my success on assignments like these. Along with writing, researching, and gathering information for this project was extremely important. Without gathering such critical information, my project would be built on no foundation whatsoever and would be thrown together without a proper layout. And finally, attention to detail during this project had to be extremely precise, making sure that all requirements for this project were met, and potentially exceeded. Through my meticulous attention to detail, I was able to write professionally and clearly, building upon the information I had gathered before this project was assigned.
(3) Since I want to pursue a master's degree in computer science, the attention to detail of specific code in different programs is fundamental to the success of the company. Writing professionally and gathering research and information play another important part, because without transparency, the credibility and accuracy of representatives are harmed, which can be disastrous. Through the use of these transferable skills, I am able to use my abilities to the maximum and benefit my society in numerous and pivotal ways.

(1) This artifact was a Character Interview project that I made after reading A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. Again, as in the previous artifact, we were able to choose a final project to work on, which included the Yearbook Project, the Character Interview Project, or the Story Extension Project. I had no idea what this book was about, since I barely read the synopsis before getting it. I chose this book because it sounded interesting to me, and I heard that it was a great book. For this project, I had to create a situation where I was interviewing one of the characters of the book, and had to make responses based on the personality and experience of the character. I also included a "Why did I choose this project?" slide and a Critic Review slide, as in the previous artifact. I chose to do this specific project on a character named Charles Wallace because of his absence from much of the story, due to his capture. I wanted to organize a series of questions that regular readers would not have been able to ask Charles since he was gone from most of the story. I wanted to do a unique project, where I had to think beyond the limitations of what I already knew.
(2) To complete this artifact, I used many transferable skills, which include professional writing, goal setting & prioritization, digital literacy, creativity, and analytical reasoning. When I was making the responses to each question, I referenced back to the text and analyzed Charles's tone, intelligence, and overall personality to give smart and mature responses to these deep questions. Along with that, I used multiple programs like Canva, Canvas, and other sites to create my final project. I had set goals of what needed to be done so I could basically use a checklist to make sure I had completed everything efficiently. I have to admit, finding the answers to each question did take some time, since I had to build on something that was never provided. Overall, through the use of my transferable skills, I was able to create a well-structured presentation that showed my understanding and comprehension of the book.
(3) Many of these transferable skills are so important for companies that manage computer sciences. One includes digital literacy, which shows the ability to adapt and use resources provided to complete a complex task. Along with that, setting goals and prioritizing different aspects of them are critical for creating a program/device with efficiency. Without these skills, there would be absolutely no structure, and it would cause a cacophony of errors and mistakes.
(1) This artifact was a Social Media Post project that I made after reading Chapters 1 through 6 of The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This was assigned to me after I was introduced to the book and understood the background of each character. Since I had background knowledge of this book, it wasn't hard to grasp the story and understand each character's viewpoints. In this project, I had to make social media posts from the mock account of Jat Gatsby, a primary character in the story. I had to deepen my understanding of him as a character and his feelings towards certain subjects. I answered the questions provided on each of the slides and created a social media post depicting the hashtag that belonged to each post. I had an extremely enjoyable time creating this project, since I was put into a position where I could use my own interpretation and imagination.
(2) To complete this artifact, I used many transferable skills, which include professional writing, goal setting & prioritization, digital literacy, creativity, and analytical reasoning, like before. When answering the questions, I put myself in Gatsby's position and related to him outside of my perception of him through his actions in the story. I don't usually use Google Slides for my projects, but I stepped out of my comfort zone and did the best I could. This helped me gain experience in something I was not used to. I had set goals of what needed to be done so I could basically use a checklist to make sure I had completed everything efficiently. Since this project required creativity, it allowed me to relate in a different way and put myself in the position of other people. Overall, through the use of these transferable skills, I was able to create an array of posts from the perspective of Gatsby.
(3) Many of these transferable skills are so important for companies that manage systems and problem-solving. One includes digital literacy, which shows the ability to adapt and use resources provided to complete a complex task. Along with that, I can efficiently put myself in the position of other people or things, and use what I know to provide a detailed analysis. Without these skills, I could not have solved these different problems, and would not have fully used different perspectives.
(1) This artifact was a Poem Analysis and Relations packet that I had completed after finishing The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This was assigned to me after I finished reading the book and had gained considerable knowledge regarding the hidden messages in the story. In this project, I had to read poems from many authors, find the deeper messages and themes, and relate them to Gatsby. I used these poems to help further understand the consequences of going against nature and how you cannot bring back the past. This was a daily log, where I read a poem every day and learned about an important term(s) regarding literature. I really enjoyed completing this packet, since it was organized in a structure where I could work in sections.
(2) To complete this artifact, I used many transferable skills, which include professional writing, goal setting & prioritization, digital literacy, creativity, analytical reasoning, dependability, and accountability. When I was filling out the information for each day, I thoroughly analyzed the poems and thought about the deeper message that the author tries to communicate. Since each day was set out for me, I just made sure that I completed the assignment each day so I would not fall behind. This project required me to think outside of my understanding and to look deeply at the patterns of nature and rebellion. Overall, through the use of these transferable skills, I was able to analyze these poems and relate them to the impossible dream of Jay Gatsby.
(3) These transferable skills are something that people cannot lack in our modern society. We are surrounded by systems that are constantly changing, and we must be able to adapt to them and grow to succeed. Through opportunities like this artifact, I know how to relate to people on a different level and tend to their needs to reach a sufficient outcome.
