What is a NYC Schools Account?
NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) is a DOE application that lets you access important information about your child on any device. The website is accessible in nine
languages.
Why is the NYC Schools Account important?
The NYC Schools Account allows you to view your child’s grades, report cards, attendance history, test scores, transportation information, IEP information, submit COVID consent forms, track your child’s progress to graduation, and more to come!
You can sign up for an account by entering a few basic details.
It only takes five minutes, and it is the first step in getting a full account.
How can parents get their child's NYCSA information?
Parent should email their grades Assistant Principal with:
Parent’s name and telephone number
Child’s full name
OSIS #
Date of Birth
Email contact for Assistant Principal:
6th Grade AP Marsh (dmarsh5@schools.nyc.gov )
7th Grade AP Gordon (agordon7@schools.nyc.gov )
8th Grade AP Naraine (lnaraine@schools.nyc.gov )
Dear Parent or Guardian:
Your child may be able to receive health services or accommodations in school under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. These services allow students with special health needs to fully participate in school. For example, students with a medical condition may be given medicine at school. Students who have trouble seeing or hearing might be seated close to the blackboard.
How to find out if your child qualifies for services or accommodations:
Contact (name) Pupil Personnel Secretary Ms. Atkinson by email hatkins@schools.nyc.gov
Give your child’s name and class.
Provide parent name and contact information (email and phone number)
Describe your child’s condition and the type of help he or she needs.
Request the forms to fill out to request 504 accommodations consideration
Your child’s 504 Coordinator will explain how to apply for services for your child.
After you apply, your school will review your request for services. Your school’s 504 Team will invite you to a meeting to discuss your child’s needs. At this meeting, the Team will decide if your child will receive any services or accommodations. You will be informed of the decision within 30 days.
The attached 504 Accommodation Parent Guide gives you more details about your child’s rights. If you have any questions, ask your school’s 504 Coordinator or email hatkins@schools.nyc.gov
Sincerely,
Jean Nuzzi I.S.109 Administration
For additional information please visit the NYC Department of Education's 504 Accommodations page where you can also find translated copies.

Please note that students in blended learning must submit a consent form to participate in random testing for COVID-19. The test is quick, easy, and painless, and it helps protect our school and broader communities--learn more on our website.
You can submit your consent for testing one of two ways:
Through your New York City Schools Account (NYCSA) under ‘Manage Account’, or
By completing and signing the consent form available here.

If you're having issues with your NYCDOE iPad or other device while learning from home, we want to remedy it quickly.
Your child’s school will use the contact information you provide to get in touch with you regarding the delivery of your device.
Did you know that you can track your child’s education on any computer, phone, or tablet? You can also sign the COVID consent form, right in the NYC Schools Account (NYCSA).
