RESPONDING TO INCIDENTS INVOLVING CHEMICAL AND RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCES

(in accordance with recommendations of NATO Civil Emergency Planning and Civil Protection Committee)

The aim of the training course programme ‑ to form theoretical knowledge of the response algorithm and work techniques for dealing with emergency situations (hereinafter - emergencies) involving hazardous chemical and radioactive substances (HC&RS).

The tasks of the training programme are:

- forming knowledge of the organisation and system of emergency response management with the presence of HC&RS;

- forming knowledge about personal protective means (hereinafter ‑ PPM), rescue tools and equipment (hereinafter –RT&E), used when responding to emergencies involving HC&RS;

- forming knowledge of procedures for rescue operations (hereinafter ‑ RO) in zones of chemical and radioactive contamination.


Course duration: 16 hours - 4 days
