The Equivalency Committee is responsible for reviewing and determining whether a faculty member’s professional preparation, experience, or alternative credentials meet the standards required for teaching assignments when traditional academic qualifications are not present. In this context, “equivalent qualifications” refers to credentials that are comparable in scope and significance to the required graduate coursework or admission to candidacy in a recognized higher education program.
