Makan with Migrant Workers

"Makan with Migrant Workers" is a new opportunity designed by ItsRainingRaincoats to enable the community to bond on a personal level with the migrant worker community of Singapore.

They are as diverse as all of us, and we assure you spending time over a meal with them will leave you as enriched as it will them.

We are hoping our donors, corporates or volunteers reach out to the migrant workers using this platform, so they can make a personal connection with them.

How to Participate (Corporates):

1. Create a simple signup sheet (Google forms is just fine) - with the basic information that we can share with the migrant workers for them to participate in the activity - proposed date, time, venue, how many workers, whether you are looking to help them with transport, etc.

2. Email our corporate team with the following information - corporate_enquiries@itsrainingraincoats.com

• No. of volunteers participating

• No. of workers you would like to invite

• Above mentioned form (our team will suggest any changes needed), and if you want to share a simple poster inviting the workers.

3. Once you've discussed this with the team, we'll float up your invite amongst our worker community groups.

4. You can then reach out to the interested workers directly, and finalise the arrangements.
