HARI RAYA PUASA
REVERSE POTLUCK & DONATION DRIVE
REVERSE POTLUCK & DONATION DRIVE
Join us in celebrating Hari Raya Puasa with our migrant worker brothers.
Send a dinner meal to our brothers on 03 May 2022!
OR
Join our donation drive to send brand new items or pre-loved items before 26 May for our Hari Raya bazar.
Help our migrant worker brothers celebrate with a delicious meal or a sweet treat!
Suitable food items: Only vegetarian meals (biryani, bentos, burgers, roti prata, etc.) or sweet treats (brownies, cakes, cookies, chocolate, etc.)
You can also send in a handwritten note of appreciation to our migrant worker brothers for their hard work!
How does this work?
Get together with your friends and family and let us know how many workers you would like to support.
Contact ONE of our friendly volunteers to let us know how many meals you would like to support the brothers with. Inform the IRR volunteer in charge, who will share with you further instructions, including delivery address & timing.
The first 280 meals & desserts will be sent to a participating dormitory at 8 Tuas South Lane ( Blk 3-4), SG- 637302 .
Any additional donated meals beyond the 280 will then be matched to other dorm sites of varying number of workers, based on the number of committed meals on your end. The delivery timing, in this case, will be separately coordinated between the donor and matched sites. Once again, your IRR volunteer in charge will share further instructions.
Kindly note that that all deliveries must be arranged by the donor and must be contactless.
Donate brand new items like water bottles, umbrellas, raincoats
Donate pre-loved items like jeans/pants, kettle, rice cooker, blender, fans, shoes, luggage bags, backpacks etc.
If you wish to financially contribute to the migrant workers, please consider contributing to this campaign. The funds donated are used to purchase essential items like meals, groceries, and utility items (hair trimmers, bicycles, cookers, phones, data topups, etc) for migrant workers as identified by ItsRainingRaincoats. Please go to our giving.sg page to donate.
