REVERSE POTLUCK & DONATION DRIVE
REVERSE POTLUCK & DONATION DRIVE
How can I contribute?
Meals & Desserts:
Make/sponsor some vegetarian Hari Raya Puasa meals or desserts and arrange your own delivery to the site
Buy any festive food items or care packs for workers in your vicinity
Donation Drive ( please see the drop-off points below):
Donate new items like water bottles, umbrellas, raincoats by 26 May.
Donate pre-loved items like jeans/pants, kettle, rice cooker, blender, fans, shoes, luggage bags, backpacks etc by 26 May.
Donate to the campaign on giving.sg which helps us assist workers in need
How many workers should we buy/make meals and desserts for?
We have picked one dormitory at 8 Tuas South Lane ( Blk 3-4), SG- 637302 (sized approx. 280 workers) for a start, so you can contribute any amount, as much as you can!
Any additional donated meals beyond the 280 will then be matched to other dorm sites of varying number of workers, based on the number of committed meals on your end. The delivery timing, in this case, will be separately coordinated between the donor and matched sites. Once again, your IRR volunteer in charge will share further instructions.
You can band together with a family, condo residents, colleagues or friends and decide how many workers you would like to treat. Let us know, and we will connect with a group of workers to arrange the logistics.

What are some good Food Safety Practices?
Wash you hands frequently before, during and after cooking the food.
Ensure kitchen and utensils are clean before using.
Since the food is vegetarian, please do not cross-contaminate the meals with any meat, poultry or seafood.
Please store food safely before delivery date and time, so the food does not spoil.

Do we make meals and desserts for just the observing brothers at the dorms/worksites?
We will pass the meals to ALL the workers at a location. All our events are inclusive - we distribute Christmas gifts to ALL workers, as do we CNY Care packs and Deepavali treats.
I am not able to deliver the items myself. How can I arrange care packs/meals to be delivered?
Please contact Hamida @ 9632 4026 for more information.
