Sifu Judge & Grandmaster Chiu
Sifu Judge is honored to come from a very powerful Kung Fu lineage. A lineage is like a pedigree, meant to answer the question, "Where does your Kung Fu come from?"
The founder of our style was Hung Hei Guen who passed the art to Luk Ah Choi. Luk Ah Choi took the style to Canton where he passed it to physician Wong Tai.
Both Wong Tai and Luk Ah Choi trained Wong Tai's son, Wong Kei Ying. Kei Ying was one of the "10 Tigers of Guangdong (Canton) a ranking of the 10 most known and talented Kung Fu Masters in Southern China. He was surpassed by only one man, his son, the legendary Wong Fei Hung.
Wong Fei Hung was a legend during his own lifetime and is responsible for the Hung Kuen curriculum as we know it. Over 200 movies have been made about his exploits as well as books, comics, etc.
Wong Fei Hung passed on his teachings to Lam Sai Wing, a pork butcher by trade and reknown for his great strength. Lam Sai Wing is responsible for writing the first manuals on Hung Kuen as well as bringing the style to Hong Kong.
In Hong Kong, Lam Sai Wing passed his knowledge to Chiu Kau, a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as his wife, Siu Ying. These were the parents of Grandmaster Chiu Chi Ling, Sifu Judge's teacher.
