This is one of my favorite pictures ever taken of Dillan. It took me about 7 weeks to sketch and paint it, because every detail had to be PERFECT in his honor. I am so proud of how it turned out!! It will always be my favorite one! Photo credits to his sister, Katie Sackett
Mr. Banks' Sunset
Acrylic on 11x14 canvas
The inspiration to pick up my paint brush for the first time in 16 years... a breathtaking Iowa sunset. We were driving through the countryside when I made my friend stop the car and back up so I could take several pictures. We were headed to the wake of my friends' baby boy and I named this painting after him.
