[Backstory:]
Cyrus' mom was abusive and his dad wasn't present all that much in his life, being a workaholic. Therefore, from a young age Cyrus was abused much more by his mom than by his little brother, Rem. One day, when Cyrus was 16, he was trying to make food for his drunk mom when she got outraged and stabbed Cyrus' eyes out with the knife he was using to cut carrots. In all the panic, they forgot about the pan, causing a huge fire that consumed the house and killed his family (besides his dad). When he died, one of the gods of death, Xander, offered to revive him because he needed a body temporarily so he could build a robot he could put his soul in. Cyrus agreed, and they were merged and Cyrus was brought back from the dead perfectly fine. He was roaming around when the queen found him, giving him food and shelter and finally adopting him a few years later. Finally, two months after he turned 23, Xander left Cyrus' body (but was still able to enter if he wanted to) and the whole story began.

I don't exactly have one since I haven't fleshed out their story, but basically Oscar's mom is a very bad person and they're trying to stop her.
