The Integrated Road Accident Database (iRAD) Project is an initiative of the Ministry of Road. Transport And Highways (MoRTH), Government of India and is funded by World Bank, with objective to improve road safety in the country. Police department module is one of the key module in iRAD. Accident case gets initiated by police. We have 19 police stations in Wardha District. Each police station have one admin and multiple user (FO) IDs through which investigation officers create and enter all the possible data of an accident. The IRAD mobile application will enable police personnel to enter details about a road accident, along with photos and videos, following which a unique ID will be created for the incident. Field Officer (FO) will visit the accident Spot to register accident data in iRAD Portal in details, After feeding all possible accident data, Same case submitted to SHO or PSA Or Station Admin by FO. Station Admin fill the FIR details for the same and send online request to Transport Department and Highway Department Through iRAD portal for the inspection of accident vehicle and accident spot on road respectively. And also send online request through iRAD portal to Health department for Drunken Drive Test & PM.
