Common Procedure for Taking Accident Entry in iRAD

● Police officer/ Bit Marshall / Field Officer of concern Police station will visit accident spot as early as possible with smartphone (iRAD app installed). After priority work like moving injured person/s to Hospital, regularising the traffic he will take immediate entry of accidents in iRAD with basic mandatory information to create a unique accident ID.

● Once reported to SHO/Police Station , he will complete entry of accident.

● As per need and severity of accident, SHO will send request for onsite inspection of Vehicle to concern MVI under Dy.RTO. ( Online through iRAD App).

● As per severity of accident SHO will place request of spot inspection to concern JE/Asst Engineer- NHAI/PWD-State ( Online through iRAD App).

● Hospitals - Admin will take entry of injured admitted/reported persons in iRAD and after sending online request to concern Police station the same will be linked to the accident ID and further information/reports will be exchanged.
