By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
Video Compressor is a video-processing application that provides tools including:
Video compression
Compression to a selected target file size
Batch video compression
Video resizing
Video trimming
Video cropping
Video conversion
The App is designed to perform video-processing operations locally on your device.
You may use Video Compressor only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to use the App:
To process, create, distribute, or share content in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
To infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or other rights belonging to another person or organization.
To process or distribute content that you do not have the legal right or necessary permission to use.
To misuse, interfere with, damage, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to compromise the App or its associated services, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
You are responsible for the videos and other content you choose to process, save, or share using the App.
You retain ownership of videos and other content that you process using Video Compressor.
The App does not claim ownership of your videos.
Video-processing features are designed to operate on your device. Your videos are not uploaded to our servers for compression, resizing, trimming, cropping, or conversion.
The App may create temporary, cached, intermediate, thumbnail, or processed files on your device as necessary to perform requested operations.
Video Compressor may allow you to save processed videos to your device or share them using Android's system sharing functionality.
You are responsible for:
Selecting the correct output before saving or sharing.
Ensuring you have permission to share the content.
Maintaining backups of important original or processed files.
Complying with the terms and policies of any third-party service through which you choose to share content.
Once you choose to share content with another application or service, that third party's terms and privacy practices may apply.
The App is designed to avoid modifying your original selected video as part of normal processing.
However, you are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important files.
You should not rely on the App as your only method of storing or preserving important videos.
Video compression and conversion may affect video quality, resolution, bitrate, frame rate, audio characteristics, file size, compatibility, or other media properties.
Results may vary depending on factors including:
Original video characteristics
Device capabilities
Selected processing settings
Available video encoders and decoders
Android version
Video format and codec support
Where the App provides target-size functionality, its behavior is subject to the technical capabilities of the device, source video, codecs, and processing engine.
You should review important processed videos before deleting or otherwise disposing of original files.
Video-processing capabilities may differ between Android devices.
Some devices may not support particular codecs, resolutions, encoding configurations, or media formats.
For example, availability of specific video encoders may depend on the hardware and software capabilities of your device.
We do not guarantee that every processing operation, codec, format, resolution, or source video will be supported on every device.
Video Compressor uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
These services help us understand general App usage, identify crashes and technical problems, and improve App reliability.
Technical, usage, diagnostic, installation, and device-related information may be processed by these services as described in our Privacy Policy and the applicable Google/Firebase terms and policies.
We do not intentionally send the contents of videos selected for processing to Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
The App's video-processing functionality is designed to operate locally on your device.
However, an internet connection may be used by integrated services such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, and related functionality.
Video Compressor does not upload your videos to our servers for video processing.
The current version of Video Compressor does not display third-party advertisements and does not currently integrate an advertising SDK such as Google AdMob.
We may introduce, remove, or change monetization methods in future versions of the App. If changes materially affect how information is handled, applicable disclosures and policies will be updated as appropriate.
The App may rely on third-party technologies or services, including Google and Firebase services and Android platform functionality.
Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the independent operation, availability, content, policies, or practices of third-party applications or services.
We may update, modify, improve, add, remove, or discontinue features of Video Compressor at any time.
Updates may be necessary for:
