2026 KIChE Meeting in Jeju
Spring brought our lab to Jeju for the 2026 KIChE Spring Meeting, held at the Jeju International Convention Center from April 22 to 24, 2026. As the largest gathering of the Korean chemical engineering community, the meeting drew researchers across academia and industry to share recent advances spanning process systems, energy, materials, and biotechnology. Beyond the formal sessions, the conference offered a welcome chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new collaborators, and exchange ideas that often grow into the next round of research questions.
🏆 Best Poster Award! - Dongin Jung received the award for the presentation "Deep learning and process simulation–enabled discovery of high-performance MOFs for CO2/CH4 separation: Bridging molecular design and industrial application". Congratulations!
2025 IEEM in Melbourne
Industry 5.0, human-centric manufacturing, and data-driven decision making took center stage at IEEM2025, the IEEE International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from December 7 to 10, 2025. Now a long-standing fixture in the field, IEEM gathers researchers and practitioners from around 50 countries to exchange ideas across supply chain management, operations research, intelligent systems, and big data analytics. Our lab was glad to take part, presenting our research and drawing inspiration from conversations that bridged industrial engineering with the questions we explore in process systems engineering.
2025 KIChE Fall Meeting in Jeju
The 2025 KIChE Fall Meeting will be held from October 15 (Wednesday) to October 18 (Saturday) at ICC Jeju. This year’s conference will feature plenary lectures by leading experts, under the theme 'Digital and Energy Transformation in Chemical Engineering Toward Carbon Neutrality.' With diverse sessions such as thematic tutorials, symposiums, and panel discussions, the meeting will provide a platform for creative idea exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration. Our lab is excited to be part of this global gathering to share our latest research and connect with fellow scholars and professionals.
2025 WCCE&APCChE in Beijing
The 12th World Congress of Chemical Engineering (WCCE 12) and the 21st APCChE will be held in Beijing, China, from July 14 to 18, 2025. Representing our lab, several members will join this global event to share research and engage in discussions on the theme 'Paradigm Shifting in Chemical Engineering for Global Challenges.' With more than 5,000 participants expected, the conference offers a unique opportunity to explore innovative technologies, sustainability strategies, and the future of chemical engineering.
2025 ESCAPE in Ghent
The 2025 ESCAPE35 will take place from July 6 to July 9 at the Technology Campus Ghent, KU Leuven, as part of KU Leuven’s 600th anniversary celebrations. This year’s symposium, organized in collaboration with the University of Liège, is themed 'Closing the Loop 2.0,' emphasizing the role of Process Systems Engineering—from classical feedback control to advanced technologies such as AI and quantum computing—in driving the transition toward a circular economy. Members of our lab will present their research and engage in meaningful exchanges with leading experts from around the world.
2025 KIChE Spring Meeting in Daegu
