Our lab will participate in the 2024 KSIEC Fall Meeting, scheduled to take place from October 30  to November 1  at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju. This event will be an excellent platform for sharing research, exchanging ideas, and discussing the latest advancements in industrial and engineering chemistry. We look forward to contributing to the conference and engaging with fellow researchers and industry experts. 

Our lab celebrated Professor Jiyong Kim's birthday in 2024 with a joyful gathering. It was a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude for his guidance and support. The celebration was filled with warm wishes, laughter, and appreciation for his leadership, making it a memorable day for everyone in the lab. 

Our lab kicked off the 2024 2nd semester with a fun and lively opening party! It was a great chance for everyone to reconnect after the break, welcome new members, and set a positive tone for the upcoming semester. We look forward to another exciting and productive term ahead. 

Our lab participated in the 2024 DICP-SKKU Symposium, held in Dalian, China, from August 26 to August 28. The event, focused on 'Energy and Catalysis for Green Growth,' was part of an initiative to develop expertise in Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technologies. The symposium provided a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange and collaboration between leading experts in energy and catalysis, contributing to the advancement of sustainable solutions for green growth. 

Our lab will participate in the 2024 Foundations of Computer Aided Process Design (FOCAPD) conference, taking place from July 14 to 18 at Beaver Run in Breckenridge, Colorado. As a premier event held only once every five years, FOCAPD brings together the process design community to discuss major trends and future directions in chemical process design. We are eager to engage in the thought-provoking discussions and share insights at this influential conference. 

Our lab will participate in the 2024 ESCAPE34-PSE24, taking place from June 2 to June 6 in Florence, Italy. This joint event, the European Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering and the International Symposium on Process Systems Engineering, will bring together leading researchers and professionals to explore advancements in process engineering and systems design. We are excited to contribute to the discussions and present our latest work at this prestigious conference!

Our lab celebrated Teacher's Day in 2024 with a special event to honor Professor Jiyong Kim and express our gratitude for his continuous guidance and support. It was a meaningful day filled with appreciation as lab members gathered to celebrate and reflect on the positive impact of his mentorship throughout the year. 

Our lab will attend the 2024 KSIEC Spring Meeting in Busan, from May 8 to May 10. We are proud to announce that Heonseo has been awarded the Best Poster Presentation Award for the research on 'Preliminary Techno-economic Analysis of Waste Plastic Hydrolysis and Electrolysis with Simultaneous Hydrogen Production.' This recognition highlights the innovative and impactful work being done in our lab, and we look forward to showcasing more of our research at the event. 

Our lab will participate in the 2024 KIChE Spring Meeting, scheduled from April 24 to April 27  in Jeju. We are excited to present our research and are proud to share that Heehyun has received the Best Poster Presentation Award for the work on 'AI-based Prediction of Olefin Yield in Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis using Fe Catalysts.' This recognition adds to the anticipation for a productive and inspiring conference.
